Daily Schedule
DAY 1: Pickup from Bagdogra Airport and Transfer to Gangtok
(Distance 120 km | Driving Time: 4.5 hrs)
- Arrive at Bagdogra Airport (IXB), and proceed towards Gangtok.
- Check-In to your hotel and freshen up.
- Spend the evening leisurely.
- Check out your locality, try local cuisines at MG Marg or simply relax in the charismatic environment.
- Overnight stay in Gangtok.
DAY 2: Visit Changu Lake & Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir (Click to Watch Story)
(Distance 52 km | Driving Time: 2 hrs One Way)
- After breakfast and proceed for a full-day excursion tour.
- Visit Changu Lake which has an average depth of 50 ft.
- Spend some blissful moments at the banks of this serene lake.
- Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir (Watch Story)
- You can visit Nathula Pass Indo-China border at 14450 ft altitude.
- Return to your hotel, and overnight stay in Gangtok.
Note: Nathula Pass on the China Border (Except Mon, and Tue) at an additional cost of Approx. Rs 4500/- per vehicle to be paid on site if permit issued.
P.S.: In the case of a landslide, Tsomgo Lake will remain closed, but a visit to an alternate place will be provided.
DAY 3: Gangtok to Lachen and overnight stay in Lachen
(Distance 110 kms | Driving Time: 6 hrs)
- After breakfast and proceed towards Lachen.
- En route, visit Singhik View Point which is surrounded by lush green hills and has the Teesta River gushing right below it.
- Check out the magnificent views of Mt. Khangchendzonga
- Visit Seven Sister Waterfalls
- Visit Naga Waterfalls which lies on the way to your hotel in Lachen.
- Check-In to your hotel and relax in your room.
- After having dinner enjoy a peaceful overnight stay at Lachen.
DAY 4 : Lachen to Gurudongmar Lake back to Lachen
(Distance 120 km | Driving Time: 6 hrs Both Way)
- Wake up and Indulge in a delicious early-morning breakfast.
- Proceed towards Gurudongmar Lake.
- Gurudongmar Lake - the second highest lake in the world, and gape in wonder at its emerald blue waters and the snow-capped mountains bordering it.
- Return to your hotel and collect your luggage. Head towards Lachung.
- Check-In to your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Lachung.
Note: Kala Patthar is Optional at additional cost.
DAY 5 : Lachung to Yumthang Valley and Transfer to Gangtok
(Distance Lachung to Yumthang 25 kms | Driving Time: 1 hr One Way)
- Post breakfast, drive to Yumthang Valley (12,000 ft).
- Yumthang Valley is also known as the “Valley of Flowers”.
- You can visit Zero Point there are no civilian roads beyond that.
- Head back to the hotel then check out and head towards Gangtok.
- On arrival at Gangtok check in to your hotel.
- The rest of the evening will be free for leisure.
- Overnight stay at Gangtok.

DAY 6: Gangtok to Pelling via Ravangla | Visit Buddha Park
(Distance 125 km | Driving Time: 5 hrs)
- Post breakfast, hop in the vehicle which will take you to Pelling.
- Temi Tea Garden- is considered one of the best tea gardens.
- Char Dham- Namchi- It is a Replica of the Chardham Yatra. The major attraction is a 108 ft gigantic statue of Lord Shiva (Hindu God) in sitting posture.
- Buddha Park- It has a mammoth 130 feet high statue of Buddha.
- Arrive Pelling, check in to your hotel and relax.
- In the evening, you can choose to explore the town.
- Overnight stay in Pelling.
DAY 7 : Pelling Sightseeing | Visit Skywalk & Kanchenjunga Waterfalls
- After breakfast, proceed towards Pelling full-day tour.
- Visit The Skywalk which is located opposite the 137 ft tall statue of Chenrezig, amidst the magnificent Himalayas.
- The Pelling Skywalk is India's first glass-bottom Skywalk.
- Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse Ruins.
- Singshore Bridge a man-made marvel with a height of over 100 m and 240 m in length, is the second highest bridge in Asia.
- After a spirited day city tour, come back to the hotel.
- End this action-packed day and with some refreshing sleep.
DAY 8 : Pelling to Bagdogra Airport Drop
(Distance 140 kms | Driving Time: 5 hrs)
- After breakfast early morning checkout from Hotel
- At 6:00 AM depart for Bagdogra Airport for the onward journey

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: We’re a couple, do we need to share a room?
A: You can opt for double sharing then you will get a private room on double sharing only. No Sharing with any other traveller.
Q: I’m travelling Solo, how will I be accommodated?
A: For Solo travellers, Room sharing will be with another same-gender solo traveller on double/triple sharing. If the number of solo travellers is odd i.e. 3,5,7 then the room will be on triple sharing.
Q: What would be the mode of transportation?
A: We use SUV Vehicle (Xylo/Innova) for transportation. Which is the best mode of travel in Sikkim.
Note: Sometimes Vehicle may change depending upon the number of travellers in the group.
Q: Why Nathu-La Pass is not included?
Nathula Pass is at the Indo-China border and requires a special permit. Which will be issued only on the day of the Nathula Pass visit. We apply for the permit and its issuance is dependent upon various factors such as weather, restriction of the number of vehicles limit per day, road conditions etc.
Q: What Identity proofs are valid for travelling in Sikkim?
You can present a Voter card or driving license or passport to get a permit.
Aadhaar Card is not valid in Sikkim.
Q: Is Sikkim safe for solo travelling?
Yes, Sikkim is one of the safest places to visit for Solo travellers. However, travelling solo could cost a little high due to less bus connectivity and for some of the places, no sharing taxi are available. It is always a better idea to travel in a group to reduce the cost of travelling and accommodation.
